This initiative aims to support the education and welfare of orphans pursuing higher education, ensuring a brighter future for them. It plays a vital role in helping these students continue their studies while improving their quality of life.

Among the guests at the event were Dato’ Mohd Muazzam Mohamed, CEO of Bank Islam Group; YM Prof. Dato’ Haji Tengku Mahmud Mansor, President of PEYATIM and Chairman of UCB’s Governing Board; Associate Prof. Dr. Mustafa Salleh, Vice-Chancellor of UCB; Puan Wazlina Wahi, Group Chief Nursing Officer of KMI Healthcare; Mr. Khairul Izran Daud, Manager at Bank Negara Malaysia Kuala Terengganu; as well as the Management Teams of Bank Islam and UCB.

KMI Healthcare is providing practical training and job opportunities at its hospitals in Kuantan, Taman Desa, Kelana Jaya, Kuala Terengganu, and Tawau to 14 orphaned students studying Nursing Science at UCB, who are SHOF scholarship recipients. This effort addresses the current shortage of staff nurses and aims to secure these talented individuals as future staff nurses within KMI, ensuring a skilled and dedicated workforce.

This partnership reflects a commitment to empowering orphaned students through education and career opportunities.
