At KMI Kelana Jaya, we recognise the vital role family and friends play in recovery, so we have set visiting hours and guidelines that ensure patients' comfort and privacy.
Monday to Sunday:
8:00 AM - 10.00 PM
Please keep to these hours so patients can rest and receive uninterrupted care.
Health & Hygiene
- If you're feeling unwell (e.g., fever, cough, flu), we kindly ask that you postpone your visit.
- Please sanitise your hands upon entering and exiting the ward.
- Masks may be required in certain areas—look for signs or ask our staff.
Number of Visitors
- We recommend no more than two visitors per patient at a time.
- Children under 12 years old are discouraged from visiting, unless permitted by the ward staff.
Maintain a Quiet Environment
- Speak softly and keep mobile phones on silent.
- Be considerate of other patients who are resting.
Electrical and Equipment Safety
- Please don’t touch or adjust any medical equipment.
- Let us know if you notice any damaged equipment or exposed wires.
What You Can Bring
- Small personal items, reading materials, or light snacks may be allowed.
- Please check with the nurse before bringing outside food, flowers, or bulky items.
No Smoking or Vaping
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the hospital grounds.
Respect Privacy and Safety
- Taking photos or videos inside the hospital is not allowed.
- Follow all staff instructions, especially in emergency or restricted areas.
Vendor for Work Registration
- You may be required to sign in at the front desk or security checkpoint.
- Please wear your visitor tag or sticker while in the hospital.
Special Wards (HDU)
- Visits to critical care units may be limited or require special permission. Kindly follow specific instructions from the medical or nursing team.
